TECHLOG Project Inauguration at MEDIBAT 2023 in Sfax: Pioneering Simulator Advancements

The official inauguration of the TECHLOG project booth at the MEDIBAT exhibition took place on October 4th, 2023, at the Palais des Expositions in Sfax. The ceremony was presided over by the Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing, Madam Sarra Zaâfrani, and the Congolese Minister of Construction, Urban Planning, and Housing, Mr. Josué Rodrigue Ngouonimba, during the official opening ceremony. Madam Nathalie Ben Ayed, the TECHLOG project coordinator for the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took this opportunity to introduce the project and its objectives to the two ministers.

Following the inauguration, the booth was opened to the public, and it attracted a diverse array of visitors, including transportation companies, students, and associations. They engaged with the project team and raised various questions about the equipment in place and the functioning of the simulator.

In the afternoon, the representatives of the TECHLOG project in Tunisia, including the project team from the CCIS and the University of Sfax, facilitators, and consultants, gathered to discuss the project's progress and the agenda for the roundtable discussion scheduled for October 5, 2023. This working session also welcomed TECHLOG Project Partners, Mr. Nicola Nieddu from the University of Cagliari and Mr. Orlando Reveco from the Escola de Barcelona, who were visiting Sfax for their first day with the team.
