The Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (CCIS) team for the TECHLOG project recently participated in an Open Day Event hosted by the Higher Institute of Industrial Management (ISGIS) at the University of Sfax on March 8th, 2023. The event was attended by students from ISGIS, researchers, professors, top managers, and owners of companies.

Mrs. Nathalie Ben Ayed, Local project Manager for CCIS, introduced the TECHLOG project, which aims to facilitate technology transfer for logistics innovation in the Mediterranean area. She discussed the Living Lab located at ISGIS, which aims to drive innovation by transferring research from the lab to real-world settings. This is done through inviting users to collaborate with researchers and developers to contribute to the innovation process as a whole.

Mrs. Ayed emphasized that both Tunisian partners will continue their successful partnership and that they are looking forward to the participation of all interested parties in the events and projects planned until its completion.

The TECHLOG project is an initiative funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC MED programme. It aims to enhance the competitiveness of Mediterranean companies in the logistics sector through the transfer of technology and innovation. The project partners include institutions from Tunisia, Italy, Spain, Lebanon, and Jordan.

The participation of the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry's team in the Open Day Event is a testament to their commitment to the TECHLOG project's success. Their involvement highlights the importance of collaboration between academia and the private sector in driving innovation and economic growth. With continued support and participation, the TECHLOG project has the potential to transform the logistics sector in the Mediterranean area and create new opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.
