Júlia G. Escribà is a fashion designer from Barcelona. Her company is one of the winners of the grants offered by the EU-funded TEX-MED ALLIANCES project.

In this video, Júlia tells her story, her concerns, and her participation in the creation of the TheMedNew platform, a new brand created trough the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project. TheMedNew aims to promote a new Mediterranean identity in the textile and fashion industry. Its Manifesto highlights 3 principal values: respecting fundamental human rights, recognizing the efforts to create a Mediterranean space for dialogue and cooperation and recognizing the commitment of TEX-MED ALLIANCES Project, and its Partners in: Applying and contextualizing the above-mentioned principles and efforts into the Textile and Fashion Industry and its Value Chain in the Mediterranean region.
