TheMedNew is about to be born. It is a new Mediterranean identity in the textile and fashion industry within the Fashion Restart Initiative of the European project TEX-MED ALLIANCES. With a wide inclusion of products and manufacturers all along the value chain, TheMedNew creates a consortium of textile enterprises to work hard under unity in diversity in the Mediterranean basin.

The new fashion business platform, which will be launched next 5 of November in Barcelona, is seeking Sustainability and Accountability to achieve credibility among people, therefore, expand sales possibilities. 

TheMedNew's first collection bears the signature of the fashion designer, Júlia G.Escribà in collaboration with SheChocolate and KonstantinosTsigaros. Júlia G.Escribà  is one of the developers of the TheMedNew fashion platform.

In this video, produced by the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week, Júlia G.Escribà explains that her brand is proposing a capsule collection, genderless and with stone, copper, and natural fibers as the main materials. The designer also explains that they have used timeless colors such as stone and earth, "following the monochromatic scale of Neil Harbisson" and therefore, they can be worn year after year.
