Ethical and sustainable Mediterranean fashion returns to the Athens Fashion Trade Show. From 15 to 18 September. Six of TheMedNew's partner designers will be exhibiting a selection of their designs at the Athens Fashion Trade Show. They are Konstantinos Tsigaros from Greece, Coccadoro (Italy), Maison Mahii (Tunisia), Heidi Fashion (Palestine), Scarabaeus Sacer (Egypt), and Noorway from Jordan.

TheMedNew is a platform to promote Mediterranean textiles and fashion, created within the Fashion Restart initiative of the EU-funded TEX-MED ALLIANCES project.

During the 3 days of the fair, TheMedNew creations will be available to the public in an 80m2 space at the Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Center in Athens, thanks to the Greek partner of the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project, SEPEE.

During the event, the senior lecturer in fashion design at the International Hellenic University (IHU), Venetia Koutsou, will present the trends for the coming season. In addition, international fashion and marketing expert Hani Mourad will explain the main values contained in the Manifesto of TheMedNew, the brand that promotes fashion made with ethical and sustainability criteria in the Mediterranean basin.

This is the second time that TheMedNew visits the Athens fashion fair. Last February, despite health restrictions, two Greek fashion companies did very well at the show, as we explained in this article.

The Athens Fashion Trade Show is, according to its organizers, the largest fashion trade fair in Greece, southeastern Europe and the eastern Mediterranean.
