U-SOLVE final conference on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation for a sustainable urban transition

Five years after the launch of the U-SOLVE project, an online final conference is set to mark its culmination before its completion. The project, funded by the EU through the ENI CBC Med Programme, aimed to create a model for sustainable urban development by fostering innovative entrepreneurship and addressing sustainable development challenges. It sought to boost urban business ecosystems and generate job opportunities in emerging social and environmental markets.

The main objective of U-SOLVE was to establish a supportive process for young and female entrepreneurs operating in urban areas with a focus on sustainable development and positive environmental impact. This initiative spanned six countries, namely Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, and Palestine. By developing experimental pathways for place-based strategies, the project aimed to cater to the unique needs of Mediterranean countries while promoting sustainable and integrated local development.

Hosting presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions, the event aims to share information about the project's progress, achievements, and outcomes. It is open to interested stakeholders and members of the public, providing an opportunity for open dialogue among participants.
