IPMED Intellectual Property Training Module 4: IP Enforcement

A comprehensive training material on IPR is one of the major deliverables of IPMED, it is essential to develop basic knowledge and institutional capacity for effective policy and strategy development on intellectual property rights, providing Practical knowledge that will help businesses and entrepreneurs know how to protect their intellectual property, find its value and exploit it commercially.
Based on the above Eight (8) videos in English (one for each training module), each of which will include a visual representation of the relevant training subject of the module, accompanied by the image of the trainer (in a small icon) who made the relevant presentation speaking in English, and there will be a corresponding translation into French by a translator.
These videos will be suitable for distance online asynchronous training of interested entrepreneurs, business executives, executives of academic and research institutions, executives of other public institutions, etc., on IP issues.

IPMED: Policy Proposals for improving Intellectual Property Environment in Liguria in Italy

This deliverable presents the results of the working group in Italy.

The working group proposed to:
- Reduce the fragmentation of patent filing system and intellectual property litigation
- Train actions aimed at banking system employees to have the economic value of corporate patents recognized in credit applications.
- Increase the number of patents filed by women.

IPMED: Policy Proposals for improving Intellectual Property Environment in Thessaloniki in Greece

This deliverable sums up the work done by IPMED working groups in Greece.

The following policy proposals were suggested:
1. Training and certification of Patent Attorneys.
2. Training of Experts on issues of valuation of the Industrial Property Rights.
3. Improvement and upgrading of the patent protection system in Greece

IPMED: Policy Proposals for improving Intellectual Property environment in Jordan

The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) took the lead in managing the project of developing intellectual property capacities to achieve sustainable and smart growth in Mediterranean countries, which was also implemented with similar institutions in Greece, Italy, and Tunisia as part of the Mediterranean Neighborhood Mechanism. The project's main objectives were to develop small and medium-sized businesses in the industrial and service sectors, promote economic and social development, support emerging projects and creative and entrepreneurial ideas among youth and the women's sector.

One of the project's key goals was to analyze Jordan's intellectual property current policies and make recommendations to the relevant authorities in order to improve Jordan's intellectual property environment.

The InnovAgroWoMed training track Beja, Tunisia offers in-person and online theoretical and practical training, as well as site visits and support sessions. The “Generation Agents” track (Entrepreneurship / Beja) includes technical training in the cheese industry, in addition to topics related to business management, cooperatives, digital empowerment, social innovation, social inclusion, and sustainable development.

TRANSDAIRY Innovation & needs of Dairy Value Chain Report

Technical Report about the innovation potential and needs in the Dairy Value Chain (DVC). The results of this report are based on information collected through questionnaires in the Mediterranean region for the demand and offer of new technological solutions. The market needs novel solutions to address the modern challenges in the DVC. Stakeholders are willing to invest in new solutions. On the other hand, there are currently available technological solutions at reasonable prices for the DVC as well as the proper channels to introduce them to the market. Technology transfer and transborder cooperation is required for the wider adoption of novel technological solutions.

MEDUSA - Hiking e-guides for Adventure Tourism in Catalonia, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia and Puglia

This section includes Hiking e-guides for Adventure Tourism in the Mediterranean regions that participated in the MEDUSA project (Catalonia, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia and Puglia), which was aimed at promoting an innovative and sustainable tourism model. There are 5 guides, one for each region, which describe innovative itineraries to explore alternative areas with a view to reducing the strong impact of mass tourism in other more popular areas.

InnovAgroWoMed Capitalization Report

The objective of this document is to retrace the life of the InnovAgroWoMed project, the identification of managerial situations, the strategy and management of communication, the process and approaches of the training and coaching programme launched by the project in its 4 partner countries, the launch and the implementation of the sub-grant, the expertise and involvement of Human Resources, etc. The aim is to build up, in the long term, a bank of good practices that can be adapted on a case-by-case basis to the different types of future projects of the ENI CBC Med Programme or any other similar programme.
