The new brand-umbrella and textile business platform, TheMedNew created within the Fashion Restart initiative of the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project, made a great success at Athens Fashion Trade Show in Athens. This is the largest fashion exhibition in Greece and the Balkans, and it was the first opportunity to promote TheMedNew in a big trade show.

Due to travel restrictions from the pandemic, only Greek companies could participate in the exhibition of the TheMedNew booth. In particular, two Greek companies. Konstantinos Tsigaros, member of TheMedNew and Tsiakiris Silk House, showcased their products based on natural textile materials.

The other companies fashion designs of TheMedNew were shown through a video prepared by the Greek partener of the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project, SEPEE.

The organizers of the event, SEPEE consider that "the initial goal of promoting the new brand TheMedNew to a real trade fair exceeded all expectations. The stand attracted the interest of many shops and fashion companies. In fact, more than 150 trade visitors entered our stand during the exhibition".  Another sign of the success is that the two Greek companies who were physically at the booth received a total of 33 new orders from Greece, Cyprus and Lebanon. What's more, 11 fashion companies, were interested on the details to be part of the TheMedNew.

The products with the new brand TheMedNew will be placed soon in many Greek cities (Athens, Thessaloniki), touristic islands (Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Rhodes, Kea, etc.), resort hotels and abroad.
