The Regional Entity for Wastewater Sanitation and Treatment in Murcia (ESAMUR) in the AQUACYCLE partnership has launched a tender entitled Implementation of the APOC system at the Blanca Waste Water Treatment Plant.

The eco-innovative APOC system consists of 3 components, i.e. (1) an anaerobic digestion unit, (2) a constructed wetland and (3) a solar treatment reactor for water disinfection and the photocatalytic oxidation of persistent organic pollutants.

Through this tender, two (2) constructed wetlands of the subsurface flow type will be built in series. These will be connected to an existing anaerobic reactor and an experimental solar reactor that will be built later.

The treatment capacity of the system to be built is 5 m³/day

The foreseen budget is € 93,899.46 (including VAT)
