إيطاليا: جلسة التوعية الثانية لمشروع IPMED حول حقوق الملكية الفكرية

The 2nd IPMED awareness session was held on September 28th virtually using Zoom Platform by FILSE Financial Agency of Liguria Region, the Italian partner in cooperation with SMART cup Liguria Academy.

The main aim of conducting the awareness session is to enable the attendees facilitate access to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), enhance commercialization, and strengthen IPR-related knowledge and awareness.

20 participants representing Liguria startups and businesses in addition to the involved stakeholders and those interested in IPMED project from start-ups, MSMEs, young and women entrepreneurs, attended the online session.

Mr. Andrea Arecco and Mr. Giovanni Bottino from "ARBO SRL", a Genoese consulting company, specialized in the protection of intellectual property for startups welcomed the participants and underlined the importance of IPR for business.

Ms. Valeria Rainisio, from FILSE explained IPMED's mission along with its activities.

IPMED project is implemented by a consortium of organizations where JEDCO of Jordan is the leader, and in partnership with Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Greece, FILSE in Italy, Agora Institute in Spain and Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tunisia. The project's budget is 1.194 million euros, funded by the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme for the Mediterranean Basin within the European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI CBC MED), to develop small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), promote economic and social development and support innovative entrepreneurs’ projects.
