The Med4Waste mentoring scheme initiative funded under ENI CBC Med programme. Implemented by MedCities, which is a capacity-building programme aimed at enhancing waste management practices in six Southern Mediterranean municipalities: Akkar Al Atika and Deir Qanon El Naher in Lebanon, Berain and Madaba in Jordan, as well as Mahdia and M’Saken in Tunisia. This program is committed to fostering the creation of innovative, integrated, and highly efficient urban waste management policies across the Mediterranean region, placing a special focus on addressing organic waste challenges and promoting circular economy principles.
