The MEDSt@rts project has launched a call for applications to support the development of entrepreneurship among young people in Palestine.

The specific objective of the call, promoted by the partner LEADERS, is to identify and select 25 aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas in  sectors such as digitalisation, agri-food, eco-design, craftsmanship, cultural heritage, tourism, personal services, education, isolation economy ideas, green and social enterprises. 

The potential applicants are unemployed young people (18-40 years) and companies that have recently started an entrepreneurial activity for a maximum of 4 years, whose partners or owner (in case of sole proprietorship) have an average age between 18-40 years.

Selected candidates will be involved in a structured process based on the following steps: 

• training (joint training program of business incubation, web seminars, mentoring service); 
• field training  to improve skills, abilities and entrepreneurial aptitude;
• financial advice;
• financial subsidy. 

Those entrepreneurs who have successfully completed all phases of the process will compete for the assignment of a financial support for their business idea for an amount not exceeding € 10,000. An overall budget is € 150,000 is available.

The deadline for applications is July 31st 2020.
