This video kicks off the awareness-raising campaign of the InnovAgroWoMed project in Italy, to draw attention to the role of women in the labor market and enhance the significant potential of the agri-food sector through targeted actions that promote inclusion, employment and empowerment of women.

This is the bold slogan of the InnovAgroWoMed campaign in Italy, which invites women to become protagonists once again thanks to a winning path made of innovation and sustainable development.

The campaign's strong Mediterranean vocation is already evident in the composition of the Consortium: CESIE (Italy) in partnership with the University of Rome Tor Vergata, CAWTAR (Tunisia), ASALA (Palestine) and Jovesolides (Spain).

The InnovAgroWoMed project in Italy was also able to collaborate with the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Italian Association of Women for Onlus Development (AIDOS) and the Italian National Coordination of Care Communities (CNCA).

InnovAgroWoMed also combines concrete actions with the awareness-raising campaign and is conducting training to strengthen women's employment and business capacity in the agri-food sector, an industry closely linked to the identity of the Mediterranean region and with significant untapped potential in terms of innovation and growth.

The protagonists, a group composed of more than 30 aspiring Italian female entrepreneurs or professionals in the agri-food sector, are experiencing the opportunity to engage in a highly professional and completely free training course to acquire, improve knowledge, skills, and tools to start up a business in the agri-food sector, or train in the food processing sector. The training course in Italy will end in January 2022.
