INTECMED in Spain receives 22 proposals from Andalusian entrepreneurs

The Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) and the Chamber of Commerce of Seville have published the results of the call for proposals of INTECMED, in which 22 innovative business ideas from Andalusian entrepreneurs have been received. Seville has been the province with the most participation (11), followed by Malaga (5), Cádiz (3), Granada (2) and Huelva (1). Regarding sectors, most proposals address issues related to health, agriculture, energy and ICTs.

After the evaluation process, 12 entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in a mentoring and support programme for the commercialization of research results. In addition, the 3 best proposals at the end of the programme will receive between €10,000 and €30,000 to develop their business plan.

The mentoring programme will provide a set of services and tools aimed at strengthening the skills and competencies of the participants to move from the innovative idea to the business.
