As part of the implementation of the INTECMED project, the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Seville (CCSEV) and the Technological Corporation of Andalucía (CTA) have celebrated the inauguration of the Regional Innovation Facility Point - RIFP on June 7^th 2022.

This innovation facility point will be implemented at the Chamber of Commerce of Seville’s facilities in an integrated environment conducive to entrepreneurship, innovation and employment in the heart of Sevilla city centre called “Emprésate 360º”.

During the following months, this space will welcome 12 project leaders who have been selected following the launch of a call for innovative projects to benefit from a training and individual coaching program for the benefit of researchers and young entrepreneurs with innovative projects and already existing start-ups with new innovative products and services established in Andalucía, representing sectors such as agriculture, energy, water management, ICT, and health, crucial sectors for the implementation of RIS3 (Regional Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization), concretely it refers to the productive and business focus in Andalucía.

This innovation space will offer to the entrepreneurs a coworking space, digitalized capacity building room, and video-conference meeting room. The programme will bring them opportunities to improve their business models with specialized mentors through individual coaching in different areas, to reinforce networking actions, and to participate to meetings with investors at international level. The objective of launching this innovation point is to support technology transfer and the commercialization of research results.
