In the framework of CEOMED, two pilot sites were chosen to test the anaerobic digestors for organic waste management at the fruit and vegetables markets, one in Tunisia and the other one in Jordan. 

Due to the price offers received from international manufacturers which are high and in order to add value to the Jordanian pilot site, a decision was made to manufacture the pilot reactor locally. Therefore, a local manufacturer was contracted for the construction of the bioreactor. The equipment will include all the requirements and further monitoring systems of the process. At the end of September, the pilot in Jordan is planned to be fully operating.
