YEP MED in Italy will start its second vocational training on port logistics for women and young people

The second edition of the "Occupational Training" will start on October 20th, the  course that aims at training in the field of international shipments and, specifically, the management of the administrative processes of shipments, including customs procedures. It is a highly specialized vocational training course dedicated exclusively to the so-called NEETs (Young people Not in Employment, Education or Training) and  women. 

The educational activities will be free of charge and will take place in hybrid mode with remote lessons through the appropriate software called "Click & Cargo", thanks to which international shipments will be simulated, and educational visits in presence are also foreseen. In this way, participants will be able to know the different phases that define an international contractual agreement, formulating offers, identifying the rules and insurances on international shipments, and  filling in the documents necessary to manage international commercial contracts.

The different modes of transport, financial costs, external costs, environmental impact, physical protection of goods and international transit documentation will also be analyzed, proposing alternatives and respecting the regulations governing the shipment of goods to plan long-distance routes. Finally, the day of educational visits that will take place at the main terminals and warehouses of the logistic-port area of Civitavecchia.

Overall, between teaching activities and visits to the various terminals of the port hub, the advanced training course will have a total duration of 75 hours.
