SOLE in Greece launches its green act campaign to reduce energy consumption in buildings
The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greek partner of SOLE, organises a plenary meeting in Athens on Nov.8th 2022 from 9 a.m to 3.30 p.m.
During the event, the Greek version of the ACT GREEN campaign to reduce energy waste in the workplace will be launched.
As previously shared on this webpage, the SOLE project has developed a capacity building pack with guidance and tools to allow for a more sustainable use of energy in the workplace, and even in everyday life: the ACT GREEN toolkit has now been translated into several languages and used in various contexts, by the SOLE's partnership and beyond.
The event will also give us a precious chance to present the state of implementation of SOLE energy rehabilitation interventions across the Mediterranean. Most public buildings in the Mediterranean area are energy inefficient as the lack of interventions over time have led to increasing annual energy consumption and CO2 emissions. SOLE projects aims to foster cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitations of public buildings.
