The Tunisian Association for the Development of Artisanal Fisheries is launching a call for applications to organise a training course on income diversification, for the benefit of workers in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

The course aims to develop the competitiveness of the actors of the fisheries and aquaculture sector, to encourage them to diversify their activities and to establish international cooperation relations through participation in the e-commerce platform of the FISH MED NET project. Four modules will be addressed (at a rate of three days per module): public service, aquaculture, pescatourism and the valorisation of sea products.

People who are interested can send their application before 15th December 2022 until 14:00.

The subject line should indicate: Title of the tender_Name of the tenderer

The message will clearly state:

• A signed application (the 2nd page of the notice);
• A scanned copy of the national identity card;
• A scanned copy of the boat's licence and/or the fisherman's professional card and/or any other document justifying the exercise of an activity linked to the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

About the FISH MED NET project :

The European Fishery Mediterranean Network (FISH MED NET) project was launched on September 1, 2019, and will run over until 31th August 2023. The objective of this project is to provide considerable support to the artisanal fishing sector, with the aim of seizing opportunities for diversification and integration into other sectors. This project is co-funded by the EU under the ENI CBC Med Programme 2014-2020 which brings together the coastal territories of 14 European and south Mediterranean countries for a more competitive, innovative, inclusive and sustainable Mediterranean area.
