Brief description of the project:

The idea should be to promote the sustainable management of water resources in agriculture through the adoption of innovative irrigation technologies and irrigation strategies.

Main objectives – issues to be addressed:

- to obtain consistent water saving in agriculture;
- to increase water use efficiency by crops;
- to optimise water footprint

Expected results:

- a decision support tools which integrates the innovations for precision irrigation
