Med Pearls Awareness Raising Event Pilot Areas: Montazah and El Alamein - Egypt

The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with CEEBA (The Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations) invites all national tourism stakeholders and tourism SME to its online event:

Developing Slow and Sustainable Tourism in Egypt
On Thursday, 13th of August at 11.00 hrs am CET

The online event will introduce the EU funded ENI CBC MED Med Pearls Project, a cross-border project that aims to internationally position the Mediterranean as an integral destination of quality and excellence for Slow Tourism.

In two pilot areas in Alexandria -already historically known as "the pearl of the Mediterranean"- innovative slow tourism products (the Med Pearls) will be developed and promoted with the support of local tourism agents. ICT SMEs will also be involved by creating promotional tools, inclusive games and other ICT solutions.
