IPMED and the University of Jordan work together to support innovators in intellectual property rights

A meeting was held on June 27th between the technical team of IPMED and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Jordan to exchange the expertise on how to assist and enhance the capacities of young innovators and entrepreneurs to best utilize the available technical assistance and funds to protect their ideas, patents and designs and to encourage them to have registered  their intellectual property rights.

This meeting is one of a series of meetings regarding the call for Sub-grants which will be launched as a Proof of Concept (POC) projects to real-life applications, which Jordan as a lead beneficiary of IPMED Project will launch in both Irbid,  Jordan and Tunis.

The competitive call will include 6 POC per region and will be directed to local start-ups, recently established MSMEs, young and women entrepreneurs who can apply to win a €10,000 grant.

The launching date, detailed guidelines and selection procedures will be announced and published on IPMED website and social media  soon in addition to the traditional media channels.
