Capitalization Plan

FISH MED NET Capitalization Plan is the guiding document to disseminate the final results and outputs of the project and to capitalize them in order to promote debates and advocacy actions at both regional and Euro-Mediterranean level. The plan provides a comprehensive overview of the capitalization strategy, as well as a roadmap to carry out capitalization actions to be implementedby all project partners. FISH MED NET capitalisation is aimed at consolidating the capital built by the project, with the objectives of making the knowledge and results generated by the project more accessible, improving transfer of knowledge to a wider audience of target groups at Euro-Mediterranean level.
Creating synergies and cooperation with key stakeholders, organizations and projects at EuroMediterranean level, building on existing knowledge and experiences. Within the Capitalization plan, FISH MED NET developed a common brouchure coming from the event, the Blue growth Symposium held in Beirut with the aim to develop joint strategies and initiatives to strengthen alliances, synergies and capitalization strategies between ENI CBC Med projects and other stakeholders in the Blue Economy in the Mediterranean.

Strategy and Action Plan for Sustainable Tourism in Tyre Coast Nature Reserve and SPAMI, Lebanon

This report presents the findings of an assessment of the current tourism practices within the Tyre Coast Nature Reserve (Lebanon) and proposes sustainable tourism strategies to minimize negative environmental and socio-cultural impacts. Strategy and Action Plan for Sustainable Fisheries Management within and around Kneiss Islands Nature Reserve and SPAMI, Tunisia

The study, entitled "Development of a strategy and action plan for the sustainable management of fisheries in and around the Kneiss Islands nature reserve and SPAMI area in Tunisia", is part of the ENSERES (ENhancing Socio-Ecological RESilience in Mediterranean coastal areas) project.
This study involves the main players in the fisheries sector, namely the administration, fishermen's unions, civil society and self-employed fishermen. By adopting a participatory approach to drawing up the strategy, the aim is to involve all the stakeholders in the decision-making process, thereby ensuring the continuity of actions beyond the end of the project.

The General focus of the pilot was to define the main characteristics of the pilot area/building and explanation of the choice of the pilot location, the general objective of the intervention on a short, medium, and long term, description of the intervention, key relevant stakeholders engaged in the process (beforehand, along the process and end user), main identified challenges in the implementation and the impact and sustainability: socio- economic and environmental aspects.

Présentation des projets subventionnés par OENOMED

Cette newsletter met en lumière le développement des caves financés par les subventions du projet OENOMED, ainsi que les progrès réalisés par chaque pays partenaire. Dans chaque pays, un appel à candidatures a été lancé, suivi d'une sélection de caves à vin et/ou de domaines qui auront l'opportunité de bénéficier d'une formation en marketing, ainsi que d'une subvention pouvant atteindre 6300 euros pour la mise en œuvre de réseaux commerciaux. Afin de maximiser l'impact de cette subvention, les candidats ont participé à des séances de renforcement des capacités et à différentes réunions axées sur l'élaboration de leurs plans d'action.

Integrated Municipal Waste Management Plan - Municipality of Sestri Levante (Italy)

This is one of the integrated Municipal Waste Management Plans (IMWMP) developed within the CLIMA project framework. The IMWMP incorporates specific measures to manage waste, including organic waste, establish ambitious waste reduction targets, and promote the reuse of organic components.

Strategic plans for university building energy renovation

A total of four renovation strategies were delivered with the goal of proposing recommendations for the adoption of EE and RE practices in university buildings that will enable to contribute to national and regional strategies objective. A range of possible future pathways were generated for the long term renovation of the university building stock in the Med while bringing together the technical and economic appraisal with the review of local policies.
These strategies were officially adopted, through agreements, by seven university and national decision makers. Based on these findings, the team is planning to continue the work beyond the project lifetime by increasing the scale from buildings to university campus.

MedRiSSE Replication Toolkit

The MedRiSSE Replication Toolkit was developed by ARCO/PIN S.c.r.l. to provide an easy to read and practitioners-oriented toolkit aiming to inspire and provide guiding elements for SSE actors in the public and private sectors wishing to replicate public-private co-production models and SSE good practices.

MedRiSSE Replication Roadmaps for replicability on Social Innovation practices

ARCO/PIN S.c.r.l., Italian partner of MedRiSSE, conducted a literature review on replicability tools and frameworks assessing scalability of social innovation initiatives. This guided the evaluation of the replication and scalability potential of 5 good practices from the MEDRiSSE project. The framework is based on the Sustainable Human Development paradigm and the Capability Approach perspective, viewing the Social and Solidarity Economy from a territorial ecosystem perspective. It also considers contextual factors. This exchange of knowledge and experience resulted in five replicability roadmaps and a toolkit to guide potential replication of social innovation models.

NEXUS Driven Open Living Labs Joint Action Plan

The Nexus Joint Action Plan (NJAP) has been designed as a policy-oriented outcome to drive management focus from inputs to outputs and boost the achievements and results of the Nexus Driven Open Living Labs (NDOLLs). It was initiated to address future Water, Energy and Food (WEF) Nexus challenges in European Union - Mediterranean Partnership Countries (EU-MPCs) through design thinking dynamics. In this sense, the NJAP depends on the capitalization of the outputs generated throughout the project activities.
