After three years of activities focused on the energy renovation of heritage buildings, the BEEP project will soon come to an end. The final Lebanese BEEP event is scheduled on the 28th of June at Hotel Gefinor Rotana – Hamra, organised by the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), partner of the BEEP project.
The workshop will include the presentation of pilot buildings from Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon and will draw the conclusions on the legal framework of applying "Energy Performance Contracting (EPC’s)" in Lebanon.
The objectives of this event include the following:
- Share with the stakeholders the process of using "Building Information Modeling, (BIM)" in renovating buildings;
- Interact with "Energy Service Companies (ESCO’s)” regarding the potential for BIM applications in EPC’s;
- Present the outcomes of the BEEP project;
- Identify the synergies with other ENI CBC MED projects on topics related to energy efficiency and renewable energies.
