Alexandria Business Association (ABA), the Egyptian partner of GIMED, has announced an opening position to cover a recent vacancy within the organization. In this sense, they are hiring a Head of Entrepreneurs Recruitment & Support with minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in order to prepare, organize and conduct the necessary activities behind the project and perform all tasks in line with the communication and process guidelines of GIMED.

The ideal candidate should have strong familiarity with start-up and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Egypt. Besides, skills in the use of social media and content creation are some necessary qualifications. In this line, the selected applicant must have excellent writing skills in Arabic and English and strong ability to engage with leaders in business, public sector, academia, media and civil society.

ABA’s main approaches within GIMED project are:

• Implementation of an online/offline process of recruitment of entrepreneurs targeted by GIMED, managing coaching and mentoring and offering support along all different stages
• Engagement of a community of entrepreneurs, civil society leaders, media partners and relevant stakeholders collaborating with GIMED and supporting entrepreneurs.
• Compiling and disseminating a report of lessons on how to improve the eco-innovation and start-up ecosystem.
