The FISH MED NET project takes you to meet Nidal Al Najjar, fisherman and project beneficiary in Palestine.
Fishing is the profession of my grandparents, we inherited it from my parents who inherited it from our grandparents.
This video was produced to celebrate the 2022 edition of the Mediterranean Day promoted by the Union for the Mediterranean States on 28 November. In it, we asked the fishermen of Gaza "What does the Mediterranean mean according to the five senses".
ESDC's partner in Palestine collected the testimonies of some fishermen, who explained what the Mediterranean means to them through their senses.
