During the last few months, the GREENinMED consortium has been coordinating internal work in order to launch the Innovation Vouchers defined in the project. These Innovation Vouchers seek to support sustainability in Tourism SMEs, and reinforcement of clustered activities with research bodies /technology centres in order to gain efficiency and innovation in water and energy management in the MED region. 

Innovation vouchers do not involve direct financial support: GREENinMED team partners will offer to the selected clustered SMEs professional assistance on an individual basis in order to cover coaching and training sessions. Moreover, Innovations Vouchers seeks the following services: technology development assistance; support to implement new technical devices to gain water an energy efficiency, simulation and control activities, advice to access to public funding with feasibility projects; etc. 

The main objective of the GREENinMED project is to support the competitiveness and sustainability of Mediterranean SMEs linked to the tourism sector in order to make them more efficient in the use of water and energy. For that purpose, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce has launched a tender with the aim of hiring technological advisory services and/or specialized consultancy in the field of innovative and efficient water and energy management for SMEs, -related to the tourism sector and of Mediterranean regions. 

As leader and partner of the GREENinMED project, the Chamber of Spain will offer these technological advisory services in the form of 10 Innovation Vouchers (an amount of 2.000 euros for each Innovation Voucher) to the 10 selected SMEs in the Mediterranean regions. The Total Budget is 20.000 euros (VAT not included).  The Innovation Vouchers Call will be published in February 2021.

The tender was published on January 25th, 2021 on the website of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and will be open until February 11th, 2021.
