InnovAgroWoMed in Palestine provided training on financial education to 33 women

The Palestinian Businesswomen's Association - Asala, member of the InnovAgroWoMed project Consortium in Palestine, has concluded the first training module that was dedicated during the last weeks to the "financial literacy", which is part of the training and coaching programme implemented by the association in the framework of the project.

This first module was presented to 33 participants from the governorates of Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah and Tulkarem, during 90 hours of training.

The objective of the training was to provide the beneficiaries of the InnovAgroWoMed project with the necessary skills to financially manage their future projects, by determining income, expenses, budgeting for these projects, and financial management that would allow them to realise benefits for their projects, as well as to take advantage of the opportunities offered to them as women entrepreneurs.

The training also covered debt management, loans and how to best benefit from them, as well as the basic rules for setting up and running cooperatives and obtaining the necessary funding.

On the sidelines of this training session, we have gathered some testimonies from trainer and participants.
