CEEIM, lead partner of SME4SMARTCITIES, organized an event on the 10^th of December to update the local stakeholders about the project. Attendants were informed on the main activities carried out untill now by the consortium and about some of the planned actions such as the implementation of a Web Platform and the design of a Capacitation Programme. In addition, funding opportunities that will be offered by the project were also announced.

More than 25 participants, mainly representatives of public entities, technological and innovative SMEs and experts, attended this online event. Some of them have expressed already their wish to be involved in future project activities.

Apart from SME4SMARTCITIES, another European project addressing related topics was presented during the event: DigiCirc; a project under the framework of the Horizon 2020 INNOSUP Programme and whose objective is to promote the circular economy through the use of digital tools.
