Med Pearls : Appel à propositions pour la création de produits touristiques lents (Catalogne, Espagne)

The Med Pearls project, funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med Programme, has the goal to set up a network of 26 Slow Tourism products across 6 Med countries (Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Palestine and Spain). These products (also called ‘PEARLS’) will share similar characteristics, follow the Slow Tourism spirit and offer equivalent and fully adapted experiences in the different countries. Thus, promoting the Mediterranean in a unique platform to enjoy Slow Tourism experiences at a reduced pace.  

To this end, the project Med Pearls is issuing calls for proposals for sub-grants, aimed at the creation of new Slow Tourism products in the pilot areas of the project addressed to Destination Management Companies (DMCs) or Incoming Travel Agencies.

To start, the terms of reference and eligibility rules for applicants (Bases) for the Pilot Areas in Catalonia, Spain can now be found in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC 8446 - 30/06/21).

Following the official procedures, in the coming days a second notice (Convocatòria) will be published with the application package and submission information.

This Call will be open at least until the end of September although final information will be set forth in the second notice.

Call for Proposals for Sub-grants for Pilot Areas in Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Italy and Greece will also be open in the coming days.
