An online training webinar for the Projects and Financial Managers and Project auditors which was organized by Prime Minister's Office in Palestine, in collaboration with the Eastern MED Branch Office and the ENI CBC Med Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS).

14 Countries, 112 territories, nearly 198 million people in the cooperation area, 63 projects involving research centres, non-governmental organisations, businesses, local authorities and many, many beneficiaries… Project leaders and partners in the ENI CBC contest operate within different regulatory frameworks and have different levels of experience in European cooperation.

This is why we work so much together and why the support of the ENI CBC Med Managing Authority and national institutions is so important in the management of our projects: the success of our activities is linked to our ability to fine-tune our procedures, to learn from those who are more experienced than us, to manage project finance and to check our process.

The Prime Minister's Office in Palestine, in collaboration with the Eastern MED Branch Office and the JTS,  provides, with this training webinar, a specific support for the Palestinian organizations involved in the ENI CBC Med Programme, in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management and project auditing.

The seminar provided essential information on the procedures for the expenditure verification, eligibility of costs, report template and control list, the use of the Management and Information System (MIS).

These are important opportunities for other outcomes as well:  even at a distance, through these meetings, the networking is enhanced and the knowledge transfer easier.

Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG), MEDISS lead partner, attended the meeting that took place on March 9th, 2021.
