MEDUSA participe à la conférence de lancement du projet Med Pearls

The Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, lead beneficiary of the MEDUSA project, attended the event “The Mediterranean as an innovative, integral and unique destination for slow tourism” on the 19th November 2019 in Barcelona (Spain). The event was the opening conference of the Med Pearls project, led by the Catalan Tourism Board from the Catalan Government. Med Pearls is funded by the ENI CBC Med programme under the priority of sustainable tourism initiatives and actions, same as MEDUSA project.

Albert Rodriguez, Project Manager at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, presented the MEDUSA project and participated in the roundtable “Establishing synergies with European initiatives”. Sharing among all the participating projects in the event the goal of contributing to transform the Mediterranean tourism model into a sustainable and competitive one, the panel discussed about what potential actions would be necessary to develop in order to reach this goal, in addition to the involvement of the different stakeholders and potential synergies among projects.
