The iHERITAGE project places huge emphasis on its integrity and direct connection to the local communities of the Mediterranean through, trainings, job opportunities and newly developed products. In the framework of iHERITAGE, project lead partner and responsible for project management, the Department of Tourism of the Sicilian Region in Italy, has announced and successfully concluded the candidate selection and evaluation procedure of applications for the vacancy of 3 new team members for the positions of:

• 1 Project Manager
• 1 Financial Manager
• 1 Project Management Assistant

to be responsible for the proper implementation of the iHERITAGE project.

One of the main goals of the iHERITAGE project is foster an active involvement of young people, females and those Not Engaged in Education, Employment or Training, otherwise know as NEETs, who will take part in Local Support Groups, Living Labs, training courses, creation of spin-offs, contributing to renovated employment opportunities; support collaborations among universities and SMEs devoted to the creation of Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality innovative products; support SMEs, start ups and spin-offs through relevant cross- border commercialization facilities; offer training services which will positively contribute to skill mismatches between qualifications and labour requirements.
