REUSEMED celebrates the first reuse festival in Cappanori

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July the first 'Festival del Riuso' will be held In Capannori, Italy, promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with Ascit and Centro di Ricerca rifiuti Zero (founder of Zero Waste Italy). The event will feature local associations and realities that deal with reuse in the various sectors (furniture, clothes, books, food, IT materials) and environmentalist associations.

The event will take place at the Marlia market and will also propose creative workshops on the reuse of materials and moments of musical entertainment hosting bands playing with instruments made entirely from recycled materials. The Festival of Reuse is promoted in the sphere of 'REUSEMED', the project financed by the European Union with the ENI CBC Med Programme to encourage the reuse and repair of objects of which Capannori is a member together with several partners from Spain, Jordan and Tunisia.
