Sicily, Italy: Tales of travels and other stories with CROSSDEV

On the 25th of January the CROSSDEV project, in collaboration with Iter Vitis, the Terre Sicane Wine Route and the Municipality of Sambuca di Sicilia, organises in Sicily (Italy) a round table called: Tales of travels and other stories - Ideas for a library of sustainable tourism and cultural itineraries.

We will therefore bring to life the library we inaugurated last November, created by our project thanks to the funding of the ENI CBC MED Programme. The upcoming round table will be an occasion to animate the library spaces and fill them with content.

Our concept of library and coworking space is that of a place of exchange and meeting for Mediterranean wayfarers, therefore our newly opened library seemed the most suitable place to bring together local players and discuss experiential and gastronomic tourism. Journalists, policy makers and tourism stakeholders will take part in the round table and a crowdfunding of books will be launched to make our space on Via Selinuntina more and more a point of reference for those who study and deepen the themes of sustainable and cultural tourism with particular attention to travelers crossing the Cultural Routes.

The event will take place at the library, in Palazzo Panitteri, Sambuca di Sicilia (Italy) on 25 January 2023 at 10.
