The Tunisian beneficiaries of the InnovAgroWoMed project have finally received in January 2023 their training certificates issued by the Agricultural Extension and Training Agency, a public administrative institution under the authority of the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture and Hydraulic Resources.

This awarding of the certificates, which was organised by the Centre of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR), InnovAgroWoMed's Tunisian partner, came after more than 10 months of training and coaching of more than 600 hours in classrooms and online, in practical work sessions, field visits and post-training support in terms of business creation/cooperatives, marketing, production techniques and hygiene, etc.

This diploma in livestock breeding and dairy product processing certifies that they are now able to launch their own projects and facilitates their access to administrations related to the sector and their integration in the ecosystem.

Some of the beneficiaries also participated in the call for applications for a sub-grant launched by the project in its four partner countries (Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Palestine) and were therefore able to have on the one hand the necessary knowledge and skills, and on the other hand, an interesting budget to start their own projects in dairy processing.

The best is yet to come!
