Beautiful beaches and amazing food: yes, Sicily is all of that; but it’s also much more. Travelers looking for a different path to experience the wonders of the Italian biggest island shall definitely surf CROSSDEV’s brand-new platform: Hidden Mediterranean.

Designed to inspire and encourage new ways of sustainable tourism, Hidden Mediterranean gathers itineraries, experiences, events, attractions and much more, all in one place, allowing tourists to select their preferred activities and to create their own itinerary. Or they can trust us and follow one of the many itineraries we have curated to offer our tourists the best possible taste of our unique destinations.

One of the five destinations we developed through the EU-funded CROSSDEV project is, in fact, Via Selinuntina (Sicily, Italy), an ancient road designed by the Greeks to connect Syracuse, Kamarina, Gela and Agrigento, in order to reach Selinunte. In the final stretch the road opens on one side to the beautiful rural area of Terre Sicane and on the other to the sea, where the beaches of the Belice Oasis span between Memphis and Selinunte. It’s a wonderful territory rich in historical, artistic and naturalistic suggestions.

Whether your ideal trip is relaxing on a beach, testing wine or olive oil, biking in the nature or touring museums, we’ve got you covered with our 30+ experiences and attractions in the area. It’s time to plan your trip!
