SOLE partners shared experiences on energy requalification on Mediterranean public buildings in Seville
The SOLE partners met in Seville at the Agencia Andaluza de la Energía on Mar. 6th and 7th to prepare for the project's closing phase and to create synergies with the Interreg SUDOE IMPROVEMENT project.
The meeting was a precious chance for everyone to present and discuss the state of the art on the energy requalification interventions which were completed or that are still being carried out in the chosen pilot buildings. In fact, while part of the interventions' implementation went very smooth, others are facing critical issues deriving from the current economic crisis and the scarce availability of raw materials for energy requalification.

Partners also shared their experiences in the implementation of the ACT GREEN campaign, coordinated by ARRR, as well as in the realisation of the meetings to involve local stakeholders, like Anci Toscana's #SOLEenergyTALKS. The partnership has also started planning the next events in Tunis and Florence.
SOLE was also presented within IMPROVEMENT's final event's framework: synergies among the two projects were created thanks to the organisation of a series of workshops to explore common strategies and solutions to transform buildings into NET ZERO ones. Key lessons learnt from the two projects were presented and integrated.

The Agencia Andaluza de la Energía of Seville also organised two interesting study visits, one to the PCT Cartuja, where climate change resilient infrastructures are being designed, built and tested, and one to LifeWatch ERIC, the e-Science European infrastructure for biodiversity and ecosystem research, providing ICT tools, services & VREs.
SOLE is co-financed by Programme ENI CBC MED: it brings together 7 countries in the Mediterranean area to support cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitations of public buildings while encouraging behavioural change in people and policy makers to reduce energy consumption.
