BESTMEDGRAPE: 120 potential entrepreneurs from Italy, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon start incubation program

Within the framework of the BESTMEDGRAPE project, the partners from Italy, Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon have started the accompaniment of 120 potential entrepreneurs (30 from each country) selected for the exploitation of promising grape-related products and services in March 2021. A group of 30 potential entrepreneurs in France will start the incubation program shortly.

 

It is an incubation program for entrepreneurs with innovative ideas that helps them in the structuring and management of their projects and offers technical support and mentoring through workshops in in the following disciplines: entrepreneurship, business creation, creative methods and processes, pitching, graphic design and marketing.

Living labs are planned to ensure the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge on local grape cultivars and the exploitation of wine by-products as a source of bioactive compounds that can be transformed into innovative commercial health products. These innovative project leaders will be trained, coached and supported for eight months, until their idea or project is transformed into an SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises)or a start-up

The incubation program offered by the BESTMEDGRAPE project will provide personalized assistance and a grant of 5 thousand euros to the 50 best projects selected.
