REUSEMED presents the oficial video of the project

After more than a year of work, which has resulted in the design of several reuse circuits and awareness plans in the target cities of the Mediterranean basin, the managers of the REUSEMED project have launched the official video that includes all the actions implemented within the project and their results.

The REUSEMED project aims at the general promotion of the culture of reuse from the municipal level, thus shaping and supporting an activity that is usually carried out in a marginal and partial way, but that properly structured and managed could become a focus of environmental sustainability, employment and solidarity within urban ecosystems.

In this video, official content of the project, those responsible for the REUSEMED project describe the actions implemented and the various municipal networks based on reuse circuits for household appliances, furniture, books, clothes and food that have been launched in recent months.

REUSEMED's objective is to contribute to the environmental protection of the Mediterranean basin through interventions aimed at the reduction of all municipal waste fractions in cities of the basin, namely in Spain (Cordoba), Italy (Capannori), Tunisia (Sakiet Ezzit) and Jordan (New Deir Allaa).

REUSEMED proposes to create municipal networks based on reuse circuits for home appliances, furniture, books, clothes, Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment and food. To set up the networks, 4 cities in Spain, Italy, Jordan and Tunisia will design and test composting installations, food collection points in markets, repair and reuse centers, reuse corners in shops and repairing cafes.
