Within the framework of the Co-Evolve 4BG project, a workshop took place in Djerba, Tunisia, on 26th of June, where one of the pilot areas of the project is located. 

The event was organized by the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies (INSTM), lead beneficiary of the project, at Seabel Rym Beach Hotel and it was dedicated to local actors belonging to different institutions  who came enthusiastically to learn about all the progress that has been made so far in this pilot area of the Co-Evolve4BG project.

The objective of this event was to identify the main threats and the enabling factors for a sustainable coastal/maritime tourism in Djerba. Through a participatory approach, attendees were invited to propose the main issues to be tackled to ensure a sustainable coastal/maritime tourism in the area.
