Salt and saltworks have always been part of the Mediterranean soul. MedArtSal project combines the expertise and forces of four countries - Italy, Spain, Tunisia and Lebanon - to revitalize artisanal salinas across the Mediterranean. 

Thanks to the project, 16 salinas have received financial and technical support to implement actions to diversify their business potential, increase the visibility of their products on national/international markets while taking into account environmental sustainability.
