The Energy and Water Agency of Malta, partner of NAWAMED project, has published a public call for tenders to develop an input study on non-conventional water resources in Mediterranean countries.

The deadline for the receipt of tenders is the 1st of June 2020.

The main objective of 'Med microfinance support system for start-ups' (MEDSt@rts) project is to design a common cross-border strategy by providing access to credit for usually non-bankable people, developing an innovative model which can be easily replaced in different environments.

In this context, the players active in the field of micro-finance have an important role. In fact, they will be able to effectively contribute to the support of new start-ups and innovative projects by joining the networking that will be established.

It has become clear how the socio-economic development of our communities and the inclusion of each citizen, particularly the most vulnerable ones, must be a priority anywhere and in particular in the Euro-Mediterranean region, already hit by a social and economic crisis that generated high unemployment rates and social inequalities.
