​The kick-off meeting of the HELIOS “Enhancing the Social Inclusion of Neets” project was successfully held in Amman (Jordan) from 2nd to 3rd of December 2019.

As part of the activities of the CROSSDEV project, the Palestinian partner Masar Ibrahim al Khalil (MIAK) organized three meetings on December 3rd, 5th and 10th. 

Held at the local authorities’ buildings, the meetings focused on two main objectives: introducing communities’ actors and stakeholders to the notion of community-based tourism and presenting CROSSDEV’s objectives and planned activities.

The kick-off meeting of the MEDISS “Mediterranean Integrated System for water Supply” project took place in Cagliari at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cagliari (21-22 October) in the presence of all partners, stakeholders, and representatives of the Managing Authority. ON 22 October, a study visit was organised in Arborea  at the Producers Cooperative, the pilot site for Italy. 

On December 11^th 2019 the Council Hall of the Municipality of Grosseto, in Italy, hosted the presentation of COMMON (COastal Management and Monitoring Network for tackling marine litter in Mediterranean Sea), a Euro-Mediterranean project funded under the ENI CBC Med programme. The event was organised by Legambiente Festambiente

Imagine a city with 35% additional sorted waste and where 90% of the citizens adopt more eco-responsible behaviors, etc.This is actually possible thanks to the GD6D method, a coaching method for local authorities and their citizens developed by the French company E3D-Environnement.

On Tuesday 26^th of November, Ing. Monther Hind, director general of the Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG) and project manager of MEDISS, met with the Palestinian beneficiaries of the project in Jericho, namely the Palm Farm Cooperatives Association and its President Mr Ghazi Zahir.

MENAWARA builds synergies with MAYA, an inter-university postgraduate Master on integrated water and agriculture management funded under the Erasmus+ Programme.
