CAST, the Center for Advanced Studies in Tourism of the University of Bologna, is one of the Associated Partners of the CROSSDEV project. We met with Alessia Mariotti, Associate Professor in Economic Geography and head of the Center until 2018, for a short interview.

The kick-off meeting launching the NAWAMED project was held in Latina (Italy) on November 26^th, 27^th and 28^th at the headquarters of the Province. 

Marine litter is known to be currently a widespread pollution problem, especially in the Mediterranean basin, but records on the ML impact in the southern and eastern part are less known. Furthermore, it is becoming increasingly clear the need of a collective response to address Marine Litter with an integrated approach, in which the various political actors and civil society can work together and in a coordinated way.

The Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) is looking to fill in 4 positions to perform research, technical and management activities under the GreenBuilding project:

On December 2, the Israeli partners of the GREENinMED project met with Ms. Yael Danieli, the CEO of the Israel Hotel Association, together with Ms. Pnina Ben-Davis, the chief economist of the association and the international activity department manager. The Israel Hotel Association is the representative body of Israel's hotel industry.
