Within its activities, SEACAP 4 SDG project identified several validated and useful solutions for the energy retrofitting of buildings, usable by any Municipality or professional for their day to day work in order to develop or improve energy efficiency and renewable plans.

The next project steps foreseen the launch of an Expression of Interest to provide support to Municipalities and Local Authorities within the field of sustainable energy by providing the TOOLKIT of selected outcomes coming from financed projects in different EU Programs and Initiatives, the support of an external entity, and specific training sessions to analyse the actions needed to boost the execution of long-term energy plans, and the implementation of measures to improve the energy performance of buildings, the achievement of energy savings and promoting the implantation of cleaner energy sources.

In fact, with the support of external entities, Municipalities and Local Authorities will analyse which Toolkit outcome to apply and participate in transferring activities and capacity workshops to train technicians to be able to implement and test the outcomes.
