BESTMEDGRAPE: how will the project create business opportunities from grape pomaces?
On the first of September 2019, the BESTMEDGRAPE project was launched in 5 countries (Italy, France, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan), aiming at creating new business opportunities by transferring to potential entrepreneurs the scientific know-how on the sustainable use of grape pomace to manufacture cosmeceutical and nutraceutical products.

Last Tuesday, August 5th, the Second Vice-President and Member of the Council of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, Rubén Martínez Dalmau, and the Member of the Council of Finance and Economic Model, Vicent Soler, of the Valencian Regional Government (GVA), signed an agreement to promote the use of the “Palacio de Calatayud” as a pilot building for the BEEP project.

Statement on the Beirut explosion
A massive explosion rocked the Lebanese capital city of Beirut on Tuesday evening, leaving at least 70 dead and thousands injured.
Our thoughts are with our colleagues and friends in Beirut with whom we work on daily basis. We extend our deepest condolences to all who lost loved ones in this unimaginable tragedy and wish those injured a speedy recovery.
