INTECMED - Brief e-Bazaar

This document describes, within the INTECMED project (aimed to develop an integrated innovation ecosystem at local level to support technological transfer and commercialization of research results), the e-Bazaar platform, which opens the doors of all research institutions, giving the same access rights to the knowledge and know-how produced within them with a continuous interactive way. The originality of the project concerns the way in which this knowledge is disseminated as well as the needs of members outside it. All parties, Investors and Innovators, will be able to create and manage autonomous modern web profiles ensuring the immediacy and validity of their information and interact through collaboration requests, direct messages and instant notifications.

INTECMED - Innovation Ecosystem RAIT in Greece, Spain, Tunisia and Egypt

INTECMED project aimed at facing common challenges of the areas involved in the project, all characterized by generalized economic slowdown and serious job deficit, developing an integrated innovation ecosystem at local level to support technological transfer and commercialization of research results.
This section contains reports that describe, for each country participating in the project (Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt), the innovation ecosystem in each specific country, the project's support for the ecosystem and a short description of the Regional Alliance Innovation Transfer (RAIT).

INTECMED - Good Practices Report on pre-incubation services in the Mediterranean Area

INTECMED project aimed to develop an integrated innovation ecosystem at local level to support technological transfer and commercialization of research results.
This report tries to select the best practices implemented by business incubators, their purpose and in particular their training method, in four Mediterranean countries, members of the INTECMED project (Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt) in order to meet the aspirations planned for this project, with a focus on the offer of incubators, in particular technological and innovation incubators, while presenting and analyzing their level of performance and the factors that make them effective for project promoters.

HELIOS CASE STUDY: Best practices in tackling social exclusion in the Mediterranean region

This publication is the result of the work conducted by the Italian project coordinator ARCES University College of Merit, under the leadership of Mr. Alessandro Pernice and Ms. Broni Hornsby.
The whole publication is the result of a constant comparison with the project partners and it reflects the lessons learned from the project.
In short, the publication aims to:
• Identify and analyse people who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET)s profiling methodology, the Blue and Circular Economy (BaCE) profiling methodology and results of the profiling process
• Describe in detail the e-learning platform and the communication strategy, the results of the HELIOS training program and finally the importance of the Murals
• Show some case studies of the partner's work across different sectors (organic farming, hydroponics, aquaponics, circular food processing, waste management, recycling and reusing, etc.) to provide further insight into what the project consortium has done.
• Illustrate some experience of the participants who attended the training courses and traineeships in companies operating in the BaCE sectors
• Explain the approach followed within the project consortium which seeks to standardize best practices and to allow project results to be cascaded to other Mediterranean countries (outside the project partnership) severely affected by high NEET rates.

This report consistes in the Lebanese national reports on tackling marine litter, offering actions and recommendations. It was the result of Activity 4.2.1: “Best Policies and Proposal Collection and Fine-Tuning,” which aims to gather concrete good practices, best experiences, and innovative ideas for marine litter disposal from stakeholders in each involved country and across the Mediterranean. The objective is to improve waste management reviews, community-based methodologies, waste reduction regulations, individual and corporate behaviors, and communication strategies. Recommendations are derived from training sessions, awareness days, scientific activities (such as beach monitoring, microplastic sampling, and biota analysis), and networks established during the project.

A.4.1.1 Capacitiy Building Training Design Plan

This document offers comprehensive guidelines on organizing, implementing, evaluating, and reporting a Capacity Building Workshops aimed to provide participants knowledge on marine litter monitoring, management, and tackling as well as understanding legislation, funding, communication and stakeholders’ motivation . It identifies the target audience and outlines the topics for the workshops. Additionally, the document includes a checklist for tasks necessary for the successful implementation of the workshops and provides a draft time plan for achieving these tasks.

A.3.1.4 Data fine-tuning and studies delivery

This document details the scientific monitoring activities of the project, which primarily concentrated on analyzing macrolitter and microlitter in key environmental compartments. These compartments include beaches, the sea surface, and the ingestion of litter by mussels, commercially valuable fish species, and sea turtles. The investigations were conducted in five distinct pilot study areas, aiming to comprehensively assess the presence and impact of litter across different levels within the marine ecosystem. The document outlines the methodologies and findings of these studies, providing essential data for understanding and mitigating marine litter pollution.
