The project press conference in Palestine was successfully held on the 19th of December 2019 in Nablus, Palestine. The event was organized by An-Najah National University and the Nablus Chamber of Commerce ‎and Industry. The aim of the press conference was to announce the projects by updating the press and stakeholders about the goal of the project, planned activities, and the expected results, and to communicate project objectives, expected achievements, and opportunities. ​

A press conference under MoreThanAJob project was successfully held on the 4^th of February 2020 in Beirut, Lebanon. The event was organized by Business Consultancy and Training Services (BCTS) under the patronage of the Ministry of Labor and in collaboration with the General Union of Labor in Lebanon.  The event also saw the participation of Mr. Mohamad Itani, an expert at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and ENI CBC Med Programme National Contact Point in Lebanon.

The region of Sicily, in Italy, is home to two Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: the Phoenicians’ Route and Iter Vitis. Both are currently seen as models to follow in order to ensure development through the enhancement of cultural and geographic heritage. Their model can easily be applied to other Mediterranean areas.

A team from "Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer" (INSTM),partner of the COMMON project, in collaboration with a team from "Centre national de veille zoosanitaire", associated partner of the project, visited the port of Mahdia, Tunisia to meet with the local fishermen community and share a questionnaire related to the pollution of the sea by plastic waste. 

The first official presentation of the 'TEX-MED Alliances' project will take place in La Casa de la Seda in Barcelona, next Thursday, 20th February at 12.15 pm. The event organized by TEXFOR - lead partner of the initiative - will offer to local entrepreneurs and stakeholders a complete overview of the objectives project and the support it offers to textile and clothing businesses in terms of internationalization, innovation, technology upgrading and circular economy.

The PROSIM project aims at implementing innovative solutions for water-use efficiency and use of non-conventional water in agriculture, thus reducing water stress in selected areas of the Mediterranean basin, such as the Municipality of Marsala (Sicily, Italy).

As partner of the MedArtSal project, the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTICI) is particularly involved in artisanal salinas market analysis, support to Tunisian SMEs, capacity building activities and international networking activities, including the organisation of a final fair in Tunisia.
