This is the story of Lucia Cobes, a young woman from Spain. A testimony of how a woman can carry on the family business and transmit it to her daughter, in spite of a male oriented sector and in spite of a society that keeps asking "where is your brother?" and making comments like "Ah, it's good you had a boy! That's great, so at least you have someone who could take over the family land".

American University of Beirut (AUB), one of the partners of the NAWAMED project, based in Beirut (Lebanon) has published a public call for selecting an event management firm in charge of managing four national stakeholders' meetings in relation to NAWAMED project WP5.

The financial crisis, as well as the unstable financial and political situation in many Mediterranean Partner Countries, sorely tested the applied economic model. Furthermore, around 15 million persons (migrants and refugees) born in a third country currently live in the region and need to find a job or enter the education system.

After the first round of applications, our Egyptian partner Alexandria Business Association (ABA) has extended the deadline of their call for entrepreneurs to allow more young entrepreneurs to submit their ideas and projects and join the GIMED community.
